Name: Analysis of applications for priority 5 of the PROO for 2018-2030

Description: The aim of the study was to precisely characterize the population of organizations applying for funds under PROO 5 and thus obtain knowledge allowing to clarify the Regulations of the competition in future editions, prepare a grant map and detect potential risks related to the implementation of the priority. The study covered 2,883 applications submitted by entities from the non-governmental sector as part of competitions conducted by the National Freedom Institute – Center for the Development of Civil Society in 2019-2020.

Description: The aim of the study was to find out the needs related to access to information and advice of the addressees of the activities of the Klon/Jawor Association, including:

  • people running or associated with non-governmental organizations (leaders, employees, volunteers),
  • activists acting in an informal, joint-action way,
  • representatives of institutions supporting the activities of non-governmental organizations (representatives of local government, representatives of supporting organizations).

Name: Emi mobile application – search engine for gynecological offices adapted to the needs of women with disabilities

Description: We conducted pilot research during which we reached out to various online forums addressed to women with disabilities. We asked questions about access to gynecological and obstetric services, including mammography, cervical cancer tests, and pregnancy care.

As part of preparation for the project, we also analyzed a number of documents and reports regarding, among others: patient rights in Poland. We also found research illustrating the scale of the problem related to access to gynecology for women with physical disabilities.

Name: Report on the implementation of Art. 12 UoDPPiW in selected local governments in 2018-2020

Description: Report on the implementation of Art. 12 UoDPPiW in selected local governments in 2018-2020 consists of three parts. The first one presents the legal framework for the functioning of non-governmental organizations in Poland. This part mentions: the principles regulated by the Act on Public Benefit Activities and Volunteerism; what public benefit is and what tasks it covers in the sphere of public tasks. The second part presents the answers of public institutions to questions regarding the implementation of the so-called own initiative. The third part presents recommendations for changes in the law and in the field of technical and promotional activities of public administration bodies.

Name: Social Diagnosis of the Big Island 2020

Description: The social diagnosis concerned the inhabitants of the Great Island in Wrocław, i.e. people living in the following housing estates: Bartoszowice, Biskupin, Dąbie, Sępolno, Szczytniki, Zacisze and Zalesie. The aim of the social diagnosis was to learn and understand the situation of residents and their needs in order to better prepare an offer of social activities implemented by our Foundation. This was especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
