Standards – legal, financial and accounting and management

In 2019, the SOC TECH LAB Foundation (formerly the Institute of Research and Local Development) joined a pilot project on the implementation of legal, financial and accounting and management standards in Wrocław’s non-governmental organizations. After implementing significant changes in documentation and organization, and conducting an external pre- and post-audit, the SOC TECH LAB Foundation received certificates of implementation of all three standards. The project was commissioned by the Municipality of Wrocław by the Umbrella Foundation and DFOP.

CSR principles and the Polish ISO 26000 standard

In 2014, the SOC TECH LAB Foundation implemented the CSR principles and the Polish ISO 26000 standard, which were included in the CSR implementation strategy of the Foundation Institute of Research and Local Development prepared as part of the project “Ecological CSR not only for large ones – building good business relations of MSP“. The project was co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund and implemented under the supervision of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

Strategy revision in 2023

In 2023, SOC TECH LAB started to revise its Standards regarding the provisions of CSR principles and ISO 26000 by participating in the “Socially Responsible NGO” project implemented by the Institute of New Technologies as part of the NOWE FIO Civic Initiatives Fund Program for 2021-2030. The SOC TECH LAB team participated in the training module, consulting and took advantage of support in updating the provisions regarding CSR and ISO 26000 principles. The updated CSR and ISO 26000 principles were included in the SOC TECH LAB Development Strategy for 2022 – 2030.
