Marta Sieminska
Specialist in participation and social research
An architect by education, currently a PhD student at the Wrocław’s Academy of Fine Arts. As a freelancer, she designs museum exhibitions and interior design. She gained academic and professional experience in Poland, England, France and Belgium. As an activist, she is interested in social participation and public space. She has been conducting research in this area since 2018, when she first engaged, together with the local community, in grassroots activities for the Brussels space. She started cooperation with the SocTechLab Foundation in 2021. Her work includes, among others: projects for the Big Island in Wrocław and organization of workshops on community research. Her actions combine the pragmatism of an engineer and the creativity of an artist. She is close to human – centered design, an approach to work in the spirit of Design Thinking and Action Research.
